JOB Description
Financial Accounting & Closing
Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.
Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and working papers for internal and statutory audits.
Maintain reconciliations for key accounts including bank balances, intercompany accounts, statutory dues (GST, TDS), and other material ledgers.
Monitor and record accounting entries for corporate actions, intercompany transactions, and regulatory adjustments.
Assist in preparation of management reporting packs and financial summaries for senior management.
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Provide financial data, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for regulatory filings (ROC, IFSCA, SEZ authorities, GST returns, etc.).
Ensure consistency between statutory filings and internal financial records.
Coordinate with external consultants and advisors to finalize regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
Assist in IFSCA and SEZ-specific reporting and submissions as required.
Tax & Statutory Compliance
Support GST, TDS, and other tax compliance activities in coordination with external tax consultants.
Prepare periodic tax-related schedules & ensure timely submission of returns and payments.
Maintain documentation to support tax filings .
ISIN / Demat & Corporate Actions
Assist with demat- and ISIN-related compliance; coordinate with RTAs and depositories.
Maintain records and documentation for corporate actions (share allotments, transfers, splits, bonus, buyback, etc.).
Liaison & Coordination
Liaise with government authorities, statutory bodies, internal stakeholders and external professionals (Company Secretaries, CAs, law firms).
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure efficient execution of accounting, reporting, and compliance tasks.
Audit & Documentation
Coordinate with statutory auditors; provide details, explanations, and audit documentation.
Ensure timely resolution and closure of audit queries.
Maintain organized and auditable supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.
Qualifications & Experience
CA Inter / CMA Inter or Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance with 3–6 years of relevant experience; or equivalent.
Prior experience with corporate finance, regulatory reporting (IFSCA/SEZ/ROC) and demat/corporate action compliance preferred.
Hands-on experience with statutory audits, ERP/accounting software (SAP,Tally, or similar) and Excel-based reconciliations.
