Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Executive to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience, driving sales, and building long-term customer relationships while maintaining high standards of product knowledge and store operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Sales
Welcome every customer warmly and professionally.
Understand customer needs, preferences, budget, and purpose (wedding, gifting, daily wear, investment, etc.).
Present suitable jewellery options including gold, diamond, gemstone, bridal, men’s, and daily wear collections.
Explain product features such as weight, purity, craftsmanship, and pricing.
Provide transparent details on gold rates, making charges, wastage, and ongoing offers.
Assist customers with trials, styling suggestions, and comparisons.
Handle objections confidently and guide customers toward purchase decisions.
Ensure smooth and satisfying sales closure.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products.
2. Product Knowledge & Presentation
Maintain strong knowledge of gold purity, hallmarking, diamond grading (4Cs), and gemstone quality.
Stay updated with latest jewellery trends and festive collections.
Ensure displays are clean, polished, and visually appealing.
Report damaged items, missing tags, or defects promptly.
Assist in arranging stock as per display standards.
3. Stock Handling & Security
Manage counter stock accurately and maintain proper records.
Follow procedures for issuing and returning jewellery from the vault.
Ensure safe handling and storage of all items.
Participate in stock checks and inventory audits.
Report discrepancies or damages immediately.
4. Billing, Documentation & Packaging
Assist with billing and ensure accurate customer details.
Clearly explain invoice components to customers.
Ensure proper packaging with certificates, guarantee cards, and bills.
Handle payments (cash/UPI/card) as per company procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation.
5. Customer Service & Relationship Building
Maintain professional communication throughout the sales process.
Follow up with customers for orders, approvals, and pickups.
Build long-term relationships and encourage repeat visits.
Understand and remember customer preferences.
Collect and share customer feedback.
6. Store Maintenance & Display
Keep counters clean, organized, and customer-ready.
Coordinate with team for display cleanliness and maintenance.
Support store events, promotions, and launches.
Ensure proper use of store lighting and displays.
7. Compliance & Standards
Adhere to all store SOPs and security guidelines.
Maintain grooming and dress code standards.
Handle jewellery with care to avoid loss or damage.
Follow all compliance requirements for billing and hallmarking.
Participate in training programs.
8. Team Collaboration
Work closely with managers, cashiers, and team members.
Support during peak hours and festive seasons.
Share insights on customer trends and feedback.
Assist in training new team members when required.
9. Targets & Performance
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Promote offers, schemes, and loyalty programs.
Track daily sales and personal performance.
Requirements
Prior experience in jewellery or retail sales preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of jewellery products is an advantage.
Customer-oriented with a sales-driven mindset.
Well-groomed and professional appearance.
