Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Draftsman to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and layouts for filtration equipment and related components. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to build their career in design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar software
- Create detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and layouts
- Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project requirements
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings and design files
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry practices
- Assist in BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks
- Understanding of engineering drawing standards
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and mechanical components
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred SkillsÂ
- Internship or project experience in drafting/design
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering industry
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal or process equipment design
