Procurement Manager ( Stone )

Job Summary
The Stone Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of natural and engineered stones for projects. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at optimal cost while coordinating with vendors, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Procure marble, granite, quartz, and other stones as per project specifications.

Develop and manage vendor relationships with quarries, processors, and suppliers.

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Ensure stone quality matches approved samples and specifications.

Coordinate inspections, dispatches, and logistics for timely delivery.

Work closely with project and design teams to align procurement with execution timelines.

Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess procurement.

Track costs and ensure procurement within approved budgets.

Handle quality issues, rejections, and vendor claims.

Prepare procurement MIS and cost comparison reports.
Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in stone procurement for construction or interior projects.

Good knowledge of stone markets, especially Gujarat and other major sourcing hubs.
