Role Objective

The Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with cGMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role will drive production performance, team development, process improvement, and on-time delivery while maintaining cost and quality targets

Production Management

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet customer and business requirements.
Ensure production schedules are achieved with a target of >90% On-Time Delivery (OTD).
Monitor production costs and maintain operations within approved budgets.
Resolve production-related issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Develop and implement production planning, inventory control, and material management processes.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, wastage, rejections, and delivery performance.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain audit readiness and support internal, external, and customer audits.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Lead investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of production personnel.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop a high-performing production team through coaching and mentoring.
Support installation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and validation of manufacturing equipment and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
8–12 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GMP, production planning, quality systems, and team management.

90% On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Production costs within approved budget (<10% variance)
No major audit non-conformances
Improved manufacturing efficiency and reduced wastage
Successful development of team members and training compliance
