ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and field-ready Sales Executive with a strong industrial background to support and work under the direction of the Sales Manager. The Sales Executive will be responsible for ground-level sales activities, client engagement, and business development within the assigned territory. This is a high-energy, field-intensive role suited for candidates who thrive in challenging environments and are passionate about industrial sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute the sales plan and territory strategy as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Identify and approach potential industrial clients through field visits, cold calls, and referrals.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations at client sites and industrial facilities.
• Generate and follow up on leads to convert prospects into active customers.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback from the field.
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager for quotations, pricing approvals, and order processing.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and resolution of customer complaints.
• Submit daily/weekly field visit reports, call logs, and sales updates to the Sales Manager.
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industrial sites, and trade events.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualification
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical/commercial field.
• Additional sales or marketing certification is an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum 4 – 5 years of hands-on sales experience in an industrial sector (manufacturing, engineering, heavy equipment, chemicals, automation, or similar).
• Proven ability to handle field sales, client visits, and B2B negotiations independently.
• Prior experience working in a structured sales team reporting to a senior manager is preferred.
Technical & Domain Skills
• Good understanding of industrial products, machinery, or technical solutions.
• Ability to understand and communicate product specifications to clients.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM/reporting tools for daily reporting.
Gender Requirement
• This position is open to Male candidates only, given the nature of field work involving continuous travel to industrial sites, remote locations, and overnight stays.
TRAVEL & AVAILABILITY
• Must be willing and able to travel continuously for 15 – 20 consecutive days per month across assigned territories.
• Overnight stays at client sites, industrial zones, or remote locations are a regular part of this role.
• Must remain available on phone and digital channels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for client queries, order updates, and instructions from the Sales Manager.
• Prompt response to calls, messages, and emails is a non-negotiable performance expectation.
