Hiring: Vice President – Legal & Compliance
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
We are looking for an experienced Legal & Compliance leader to head our legal strategy, manage compliance frameworks, and align risk management with business goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to proactively identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Legal:
Act as in-house legal advisor on all corporate matters and contracts
Provide legal counsel on departmental transactions and regulatory compliance
Oversee litigation, coordinate with courts, and supervise legal team operations
Conduct legal research and trend analysis to preempt disputes and guide departments
Risk & Compliance:
Develop and manage a corporate risk strategy aligned with company goals
Lead contract reviews, negotiations, and risk assessments across departments
Review contracts, tenders, and legal documentation to ensure compliance and mitigate legal exposure
Ensure accurate recordkeeping of contracts and legal documents
Conduct compliance training and policy awareness sessions
Corporate Secretarial:
Maintain up-to-date company records and oversee changes in structure
Organize board and general meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and support corporate reporting
Qualifications
CS with LLB/LLM, 12–18 years of relevant experience
Expertise in litigation, governance, and legal advisory across business functions
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
High attention to detail in legal drafting and regulatory filings
