Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management: Lead the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and equipment specific to the oil and gas sector, ensuring cost-effective purchases and adherence to industry standards.

Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with both local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management to ensure materials are stocked efficiently, preventing stockouts or excess inventory, and optimizing supply chain operations.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased materials comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies to enhance procurement efficiency while keeping within budget constraints.

Reporting & Documentation: Manage and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:

Education: B.Sc. / B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement within the Oil & Gas or Chemical industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

Expertise in procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain optimization in the oil and gas/chemical sectors.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.

Thorough understanding of safety, environmental, and industry compliance standards.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
