Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Purchasing with a strong background in the petrochemical and chemical industries. The role involves leading the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and equipment, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the purchasing team, focusing on raw materials, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
Develop and execute procurement strategies to support production needs.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
Monitor inventory, budget, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in procurement in the petrochemical or chemical industries.
Strong knowledge of raw materials, chemicals, and equipment used in production.
Proven leadership, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
