Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Technician to perform installation, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
Carry out fitting, wiring, welding, or winding work as per job requirements and technical specifications.
Ensure machines and equipment are operating efficiently with minimum downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and report abnormalities or equipment issues.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies at all times.
Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to complete maintenance schedules.
Guide and support junior technicians and trainees in technical activities.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment when required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults efficiently.
Knowledge of industrial tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance techniques.
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Basic computer knowledge for maintenance documentation is preferred.
Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
Preferred Experience
2–10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
Experience in handling motors, control panels, pumps, welding equipment, electrical wiring, or rotating machinery is preferred.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
