Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Stores Executive to manage day-to-day store and logistics operations, including inventory control, material inward/outward, stock reconciliation, GRN preparation, material handling, MIS reporting, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily stores and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock records and proper material handling.
- Maintain records of material receipts, issues, returns, adjustments, and physical inventory.
- Receive incoming materials and verify them against Purchase Orders, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and other departments for timely material receipt and issue.
- Perform basic inward/outward material inspection and coordinate for GRN preparation.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, pricing, storage, and stock rotation of materials.
- Maintain minimum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and safe handling of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store area.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for inward, outward, stock, shortages, discrepancies, and other management requirements.
- Investigate and report misplaced, damaged, excess, or shortage materials.
- Coordinate the movement of goods and support logistics and dispatch activities.
- Raise purchase requisitions for required materials and support low-value procurement activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in the ERP Stores Management System.
- Supervise store staff, allocate work, and ensure effective teamwork and discipline.
- Support team building, training, and employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures related to inventory, safety, housekeeping, and material control.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Stores / Warehouse operations.
- Good knowledge of Inventory & Stock Management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based Stores Management Systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of GRN, material inspection, inward/outward processes, and stock reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Proactive approach with good planning and organizing abilities.
- Ability to supervise a team and manage day-to-day store activities independently.
